Question for you. I just installed more ram on my laptop (4gb to 16gb).
I decided to increase the size of my swap file to match the size of my
available ram. Gparted would not allow me to increase the size of my current
swap partition, so I rebooted my computer and booted from a live cd. I ran
Gparted and deleted the 4gb swap file, and then created a new 16gb swap file.
The problem is, I can't seem to get my computer to remember to start up the
operating system with the swapon. Everytime I boot up my computer I have to
go into gparted and manually swapon the swap partition. Any way I could fix this?
