- fix is to edit network manager connection
  - Network Manager in task bar -> Edit Connections
  - Popup window 'Network Connections'
    - select your VPN, click 'Edit'.
    - Popup Window 'Editing <YOUR CONNECTION>'
      - click Advanced
      - Popup Window 'Open VPN Advanced Options'
        - click tab 'TLS Authentication'
        - CHANGE: Server Certificate Check: Verify name exactly
          (this was 'Verify subject partially')
        - CHANGE: set 'Subject Match:' to: access.is
        - click 'OK' [closes window]
    - click Save [closes window]

- Reconnect \o/
