<Klompz> !FLS got a very shakey connection, and barely reaching my max up, and no idea why. (its probably not a provider issue, its or my system or my router)
* Klompz assumes question is posted, even though there was a short connection drop
<Pacane> Klompz: Are you using wireless? If so, try connecting with a wire, and see if you reach max
<Klompz> always wired
<Klompz> and checked the cables if its all plugged i
<Pacane> And why do you assume it's not a bad provider issue?
<Klompz> n
<Klompz> because lately i also have that after a reboot the connection is gone very easily, multiple times a day, solved when restarting again
<Klompz> not always, but it happens
<enable_15> in ubuntu?
<Klompz> yes, lubuntu to be precise
<enable_15> quite likely a flaky network driver... fairly common in ubuntu
<Klompz> easily solvable?
<enable_15> if you can find a driver without the bug
<enable_15> if you've got another machine running windows/mac try that
<Klompz> nope, just this laptop
<enable_15> hrm
<enable_15> you could try a LiveCD spin of Fedora too
<enable_15> or, try your wireless
<enable_15> sit close to your router to mitigate wifi issues, and that might give you an idea if its your NIC driver
<Klompz> k, atm its bout 1.5 m away from me, so that should be ok
