Nvidia-prime GLX problem using vulkan-beta (355.00.26) driver on ubuntu 16.04-alpha 64b
Hello.
GPU acceleration/GLX does not work on optimus-enabled laptop with nvidia Vulkan-beta driver.
My laptop HP-envy15 has "optimus" intel i7-4700qm(haswell) and GeForce 840m.
Trying Vulkan on Ubuntu 16.04 alpha (daily) (full install on USB)
I was able to install nvidia-graphics-drivers-355 from ppa: https://launchpad.net/~canonical-x/+archive/ubuntu/vulkan?field.series_filter=xenial
After installing "nvidia-prime" and selecting
prime-select nvidia
I was not able to log-in to unity session. The gnome-fallback metacity wokrs (not using accel)
looks like kernel modules did load coretly.
nvidia-settings does run and info is ok, except nothing OpenGL/GLX information
I am not able to use 3D
