This morning, I had to get up at 4am to get to a site for
6am to replace the RSA card in their server.
Hit the road on time, arrived on time but, whoops - nobody
answering the pre-arranged remote server team's phone to
down the server. Took a chance & pulled both power leads
from it - that shut it down quick enough ;)
Replaced the card - then server was stuck in an IBM flash
screen loop - replacement was a DOA! Put the old RSA card
back in - magic! Server BIOS accessed ok, correct i.p.
settings still showing, server booted ok.

Once normal support guys answered the phone, got them to
check access to RSA & then into server... full remote
access restored.

Moral: don't send me out at silly o'clock when you can't
keep your end of the bargain... and don't send me out
damanding a replacement when simply reseating original
would have done!... a cautionary tale for us all!
